So we went to bed Tuesday night hearing that snow was on its way and schools had already been cancelled for the next day. We woke up Wednesday, turned on the news and saw that almost every school was cancelled except for a few private schools (Vanderbilt being one of them). I went outside and found this. This was the major snow storm they were talking about. This picture was the most snow accumulation I could find. Pretty funny huh?
To be fair, it did end up snowing most of the day and this was as much snow as we got but it all melted the same day. It was nice driving to work since no one was on the road, I didn't have to deal with rush hour traffic. Gotta love the south!

That is so funny! Lucky for you though, with the traffic! Sometimes you have to wonder what people would do if they came out west in the middle of the winter! Hope you have a Happy Valentine's Day!
That's funny! Not really fare though...we've had over a foot of snow for so long now and nothing is ever closed. Yesterday though, it snowed a foot in 4 hours and the wind was horrible and they finally closed campus for the rest of the day...at 7pm...so much for my snow day!
