Kyia reminded Mike of this everyday when we dropped him off for work. There were two lion statues outside his building and Kyia would watch to make sure he touched the lion on his way into work. It wasn't Mike's favorite thing to do, especially if there were people around but it made Kyia happy. One day he forgot and there was a major meltdown for about 10 minutes. When we were leaving Dallas, Kyia told us she wanted to say "goodbye" to the lions and had to give each one a hug and kiss. We are going to miss Dallas but are excited about spending the next 6 weeks in Houston. It will be great for Mike to compare the two firms he is working at and really see what type of law he would like to practice. He is having a lot of great experiences at both firms which will make the decision of where to go after he graduates a tough one.
