I finally caved and ended up signing my life over to 10-15 years of servitude. We got a puppy. Yes, I know, I said I wasn't going to but the look on Mike and Kyia's face made me give in. I have been sitting on the fence for so long and was finally pushed to one side. I do like dogs, it's the work that goes into them that makes it more difficult. I have to admit though that this puppy is really cute and a lot smaller than the pictures make her look. She's a puggle and we finally decided to name her Zoe. Kyia was stuck on Sally for awhile but that just didn't seem like a dog's name so we finally convinced her of another name. She is having a lot of fun with her and they chase each other around everywhere. So far she hasn't made a noise but I'm sure that is going to change.

Congrats. on your new pup. We have two Shitzus that we got 10 years ago as puppies. They have brought so much joy to our family. If I can give you one piece of advice it is this...get a doggie door!

So cute! Cam is TERRIFIED of dogs...every kind and size for that matter! Darren wants one so bad but I am not there yet. You'll have to let me know how it goes...

The same thing almost happened with me and a cat. I have never been a cat person and have never liked the "attitude" that cats seam to have. Well, when a friend of ours was going to get rid of a cat of hers because she got married and the other cat would clobber this one, Jeanne and I decided that we would take care of her. Well, we had Jinx for about a year and wen she was killed by a car we both were surprised to find out that we were really sad and missed her a lot. We got our own cat about 6 months later.
