Kyia is one of the most independent little girls I have ever met. She has to do everything on her own. The other day Mike went to the store to look for sunglasses and right when they got in the store, she headed over to the employee and said "excuse me, do you have any kid's sunglasses?" She also has to order her own meal if we go out to eat. Mom and Dad can't do it. We went bowling with friends a couple days ago. It was the first time Kyia went bowling and actually understood what to do and what it was about. She would not let us help her position the ball or carry it up to the lane. She "could do it herself" as I was told repeatedly. So we let her do it all on her own and she ended up bowling a 108 without any help. She beat everyone! Mike and I ended up tying with 83. We're horrible bowlers but had fun. I guess she doesn't need help after all. She should be telling me how to do it.

We just went there last night. It was pretty fun! Someday we want to go laser tagging there with some friends. It's too bad all our friends are moving away!
