Busy Couple weeks

We have been pretty busy the past couple weeks. I will start from the most recent. Mike went to Houston to take his bar exam. We are so glad it is over! He has to wait until November for the results. Now he has the next few months to just relax before work begins. While Mike was in Houston taking 3 days of 8 hour a day testing, I got to play with the girls. Doesn't seem fair does it? We went to Bear Lake twice. Once to play and then I took them to Raspberry Days and stayed for the parade which they loved.
Brooklyn was making faces all day long as you can see from these two pictures.

She would make this face whenever she heard the sirens go off.

This firefighter called Kyia over to give her some candy. She didn't know what do to at first but when she saw the candy, she ran as fast as she could.

Cokeville has a big Pioneer day celebration. We went to the parade where Kyia got another big bag of candy. After the parade, we headed over to the church where Elder Quinton L. Cook spoke. Elder Perry comes every year and always brings someone new to speak to us. It was a great meeting. The soloist and pianist for the tabernacle choir also came and gave an amazing musical number. It was a very special meeting. After the meeting, we went to a rodeo. Kyia had never been to a rodeo before and seemed to like it. She kept telling us she wanted to ride the sheep until she saw the little kids falling off.

Brooklyn's not sure what to think of the parade

My sister Erinn and her husband came up for the 24th celebration and we all went horseback riding. Kyia decided she wanted to ride all by herself. She knew just what to do and was so proud of herself afterwords. Brooklyn has a rocking horse at home so the second she got on, she bounced to make it go. She loved it.

Kyia and Aunt Jenn

On the 23rd we made a trip to Rexburg to see Mike's sister, Tasha, graduate from BYUI. We're so proud of her and and all of her hard work. It's been a crazy couple of weeks and lots of driving but we've had a fun time and a lot of good experiences.
