So many things to see...So little time

It is starting to hit us that we only have one year left!! We are excited but realized that there are still many things that we want to see while we are living here. One of our stops was the Jack Daniel's Distillery in Lynchburg, TN. We have heard that this is a fun, and free, tour. It is in a dry city so they can't serve alcohol anywhere. At the end of the tour, they actually give you lemonade. Mike had a day off on Monday so we decided we would make the 1 1/2 trip to Lynchburg and go on the tour. It was a interesting tour and Kyia actually wanted to do it again. The smell however was very strong and overwhelming at times. My pregnancy sense of smell probably intensified things as well. Below is a picture of a tree next to the distillery. The buildings and trees on the grounds are all coated in this black mold that is common to distillery warehouses.

Here are barrels and barrels of alcohol aging in the warehouse. The smell in this room was very strong. Each barrel goes for $8,000-$10,000!
Below is corn fermenting before putting it into bottles. Doesn't it look appetizing?
One thing down, several more to go.
