Kyia hasn't been enjoying getting in her car seat lately and screams and cries a lot while she is in it. Before we even get in the car she tells us "we're not going on the busy high road" She thinks she won't have to buckle up if we don't go on the highway. So Mike pulled out our DVD player and hooked it to the back of the seat and we never hear a peep out of her. This is Mike's new favorite invention and she loves it! It is like she is sleeping back there. She even leaves her shoes on for the whole trip which were usually the first to go when she got in the car. So now, Mike and I can actually have a conversation in the car.
Kyia's new favorite toy is a power wheel. She's not one to ask for things very often but does tell us she wants a power wheel for Christmas. She can reach the pedal now and is starting to understand that turning the wheel will make it turn. She is already driving with one hand. What happend to 10 and 2??

I have to say that the DVD player in the car IS in fact a life saver! We have one for Lilli as well, and she just sits nicely and also leaves her shoes on. How funny that kids do the same things!!!!
My girls have wanted a power wheels jeep for a couple of years!! Every year Martin and I say we are going to get one and then we never do. Little girls in power wheels is the cutest thing!!

How fun her little power wheels jeep. We walked past them in the store yesterday and Gracie about went crazy she wanted to go for a ride so bad. Congrats on another little girl we are excited for you. I can't believe it has already been two years out there in Tennessee. Our time in Omaha is going fast as well!!
