Surf's Up!

A couple weeks ago, Mike and I spent a couple days in San Diego, CA. I have always loved it there. From the weather to the beach, you can't go wrong. It was a welcomed change from the hot heat and humidity of Houston, TX. We stayed at the Four Seasons resort and just spent our weekend getting pampered, all thanks to the firm Mike is working at this summer. Mike had surfing lessons on morning and I was pretty impressed. It was his first time surfing and after a 5-10 minute lesson on the sand, they took him into the water to try out what he learned. He actually made it up on the board quite easily. He said it was a lot more wearing than it looks and got worn out pretty quickly but I did get some good pictures. I spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing and the spa and the pool. That night, we had a Texas Hold 'em tournament and Mike ended up clearing our table and coming in fourth place. I somehow cleared the table of our first game, making a $90,000 increase. We should go to Vegas! We had a great trip that went by way to fast! Thanks to Mike's mom for coming to watch Kyia for us so we could go. I'm sure she was worn out after a couple days. Kyia had a great time with her Grandma and can't wait to see her again!

oh, that weekend sounds so nice I am glad you got to do with him. I personally think it is crazy how much these firms spoil these guys. When is the next time you're home. The girls & I are home for good Monday. We've missed you guys can't wait to see you. I get Kyia when you have the baby? Right!
